Zoning Map Updates
Cedar Pass Ranch residents and city staff are working to establish a proper zoning designation for the long-unzoned community. The community favors a custom historic zone that protects five-acre minimums, animal allowances, and equestrian lifestyles, while staff presented a broader agricultural large-lot framework.
RV Parking and Storage Code Amendment
The city is looking to clamp down on people using their residential yards to store RVs for other people, which acts like an unlicensed commercial storage lot. Neighbors have complained about the visual clutter and crowding in residential areas.
Brandon Park Area Rezoning
The city is proposing to update zoning and future land use maps for about 216 acres in the Brandon Park area. This aims to align outdated zoning with current city plans and make it easier for residents and staff to understand property regulations.
Fencing and Screening Regulations
New rules were adopted to ensure fences, walls, and retaining structures are maintained in good condition, addressing aesthetic and safety concerns.
