Historical Memorialization
Salt Lake City is stepping up to install a memorial for a lynching victim after state officials blocked the project on Capitol Hill. It’s a bold move by the city to finally acknowledge a dark chapter of local history that the state government tried to ignore.
Olympic planning
Kearns is officially getting ready for the 2034 Olympics by hiring a dedicated staffer to manage the chaos. Expect to see a lot more construction and event planning popping up around town as we get closer to the games.
