4 issues in public safety with high priority
Retail Theft and Response Times
A local business owner raised concerns about slow police response times to retail thefts and shoplifting incidents. The mayor connected the business owner with the police chief to address the issue directly.
Public Works Facility Expansion
Midvale's public works building was built in 1985 for a much smaller town. Consolidating parcels and updating zoning paves the way for much-needed facility expansions.
Infrastructure Emergency
A major water main break in Midvale has cut off service for some residents today. Check the city's alert page to see if your home is affected and when you can expect the water to come back on.
Police Department Formation
Midvale is thinking about ditching the county sheriff to launch its own independent police department. It’s a huge move that could totally change how your neighborhood is patrolled and where your tax money actually goes.
